Much better. I received very good news today so now I’m happy. ![]()
I’ll keep it a secret for now (who knows who reads this blog) will say something when I can.
For the ones who know already, please be careful with the comments ![]()
P.S.- No I’m not pregnant or getting married. People who know me know that would be the worst news ever for me
but just to avoid unnecessary gossip.
Police officers don’t carry guns.
In Portugal even traffic police carry guns.
Last Saturday I went on one of the OU’s day organised trips to a German Christmas market in Birmingham. It was my first visit to the second biggest city in England (other than just the train station).
Unfortunately we only had a day and it was meant to be for shopping so there wasn’t much time to see the city. The market was between the City Hall and the big Bullring Shopping Centre. It was so crowded that you could barely walk, much less be able to see anything. We managed to do some shopping and see some of the German stands but the queues were so big that I didn’t have the patience to buy what I was really interested in: The food ![]()
The little I could see about the city was nice. Anything with a bit of history (more than 40 years) is good.
We were nackered by the end of the day though
But we had a very nice day with our friends and the trip ended up being very cheap so definitely something to repeat. ![]()
Getting to work very early (8.30)… Too early to start working. Lazyyyyyy ![]()
I think it is. But still sometimes wonder… And that is the time to rest, not care for a while, and then start all over again.
Is visiting Milton Keynes. And I’m asking myself the question: Why? WHY the hell would the Queen want to visit this god forsaken place? Stay away! Save yourself!
Maybe it has to do with the town’s 40th anniversary. Yes I didn’t forget a 0. It IS 40 years old, which says a lot already. The reasons why I say it’s a god forsaken place? Well I’ve been planning to write a post to explain how unusual this city is but I’ve been postponing it as much as I can because just to think about it makes me depressed…
And for the ones who take things literally yes, there are good things about it but the balance is (still) negative.
