Space expert: So you dreamt you were on the moon. What were you doing on the moon?

School child: I was moonwalking.

School child to space experts (me and my colleagues): If there was air in Saturn, could we live there?

Steve B.(offline): You’d be squished…

And freeze…

And generally in pain…

We got it!!!

David Fonseca: Someone that cannot love

Just a beautiful song (no meaning to it).
Listen here (One day I’ll find out how to insert videos here)

Lyrics:

You locked your heart
You wake up with tears and
stars in your eyes
You gave it all to someone that
Cannot love you back

Your days are packed
With wishes and hopes for the
love that you’ve got
You waste it all to someone that
Cannot love you back

Someone that cannot love

Love, ain’t this enough?
You push yourself down
You try to take comfort in words
But words
They cannot love
Don’t waste them like that
Cus they’ll bruise you more

You secretly made
Castles of sand that you
[ Lyrics found at www.mp3lyrics.org/Iku ]
hide in the shade
But you cannot own the
tides that break them
And you build them all over again

You talk all these words
You make conversations
that cannot be heard
How long until you notice that
No one is answering back

Someone that cannot love

Love, aint this enough?
You push yourself down
You try to take comfort in words
But words
They cannot love
Don’t waste them like that
Cus they’ll bruise you more

Love, love, ain’t this enough
This pushing around
To find little comfort in words
But words
They cannot love
Don’t waste them like that
Cus they’ll bruise you more

You know they’ll bruise you more
Words they will hurt you more

Mascara: does anyone know?

Does anyone know how to remove mascara without making the skin around the eyes bleed from so much scrubbing?

I don’t use waterproof mascara precisely because it’s hard to take off but even the other one.It doesn’t matter how much makeup remover I use, I always end up with my eyes all red and hurting and still mascara on :s

Can’t stop…

Challenges and chains: Things that I love

I have received a challenge from my good friend Vanda to say 6 things that I love. It’s difficult to chose only 6 things but I’ll make an effort. I will not pass the challenge on as there are not many people I know with weblogs ;)

- I love the way Russ and I work as a team. Sometimes we don’t even need to say anything, we just do it and it comes out perfect. As if we could predict each others steps. So I love when we do things together either going places or just being at home doing every day things.

- I love the beach. More that ever now that I can’t have it. I love the sea (I miss it so much!) I love the feeling of the sand under my feet, the yellow and blue colours, the smell of the sea and the sound of seagulls. It brings me so much happiness!

- I love the warm touch of the Sun in my skin, the light, the warmth, the feeling of life coming from it. It lifts me up. And I love a good long walk in the Sun either on the beach or in the country side or just around the block (MK is good for that).

- I love dogs. I have a passion for dogs, any dog (except yappy dogs). They are human’s best friends. They are loyal and clever and loving. I love they little noses and ears and fur. They will never leave you or betray you. I don’t really know how to explain. I just adore them!

- I love my friends. The true friends. I was blessed with really good friends. They have proven time and time again how they can be trusted and how they trust me. How they are there for me (even if in a different country) and how I am there for them. And in here I include family of course.

- I love travelling. But not travelling alone or the getting from one point to the other (hate planes). But I love seeing new things, hearing other languages, trying other food, learning the history of other countries. There is nothing like being there, experiencing it yourself, seeing it and feeling it for yourself. You learn so much from other cultures! (I love learning!) And sharing that with someone…that’s even better :)

And here it is. There’s a lot of other things I love but I think these are the most important.
