How your parents have the ability to crush you so easily. I guess they gain that right from the moment they give you life…
Como e que com pais destes nao sai ainda mais desequilibrada do que ja sou. Viva o amor familiar! E o sentido de familia. Sangue do meu sangue. Saiu das minhas entranhas. E essas merdas todas. Depois admiram-se!
NASA has windows of opportunity of only a few days to launch their spacecrafts.
NASA is lucky.
I only give windows of opportunity of a couple of hours. Then they are gone forever…
There is a virus around that is making everybody get engaged and talking about weddings.
What is next? Kids?
And because good things always come together, today is our 2nd anniversary!
Happy Anniversary Russ. You know how much you mean to me.
Lets celebrate many, many more!!!
Love you loads

Well I must say I was wrong: it was nothing like a normal day. Not to mention all the text and phone calls and messages from people in Portugal which made it a great day as well.
For a start it was very nice that everyone at the office went for coffee with me and we have a nice relaxed time. Then in the evening a nice bath and a massage.
Then… Well then… A surprise party!!! Totally organised by Russ (well done, I know how much you stress about these things). I knew there was something going on by the way people behaved but I had no idea when or what. It would’ve been a complete surprise if the chemists (who share the building with us) didn’t set fire to the building (which they do frequently) and everybody got locked out of the building, couldn’t pick their things up and therefore would probably be late for the party. So I heard a bit of the panic phone call to Russ said the world is about to end. So I knew something was going to happen that evening. It was still a surprise though.
So we got to the pub, everybody was there, with hats and everything. Had champagne, cake (thanks Jemma), card and presents, fantastic food, and great company!
It turns out Russ has been planning it for weeks (which is longer than he ever planned anything, and ever will
) It almost fell apart, but in the end it all turned out fantastic and I had a great time.
Thank you so much Russ for the special evening, you’ve exceeded yourslef again. Thanks Jemma for getting the cake and the hats and everything. And thanks to everybody there, hope you have such a great time as I did.
The presents, well The Parsloes gave me 3 books I was hoping to buy and Russ’s present will be on another post ![]()
Another sign of getting older is that your birthday is just like any other day ![]()
At least is was sunny and warm when I walked to work. It looks like it’s about to change though.
