Is how much electricity and gas prices will rise by the end of the year! As if they weren’t high enough.

Hectic is not the right word! This morning I hadn’t even left the house yet and I was already tired with all I had to do. It was good to get to work and finally manage to sit down. ![]()
Still happy though ![]()
Finally we (Russ) managed to have a bit of time to get the weblog working. We wanted to only get it online and start writing once it was all ready, but it would take ages. So here it is. We still have a lot to do, most pages don’t work and there are some picture to upload. But we will work on it ![]()
I have a link just here on the right and while I don’t come up with a clever idea to say here when it’s updated you just have click on it to see if there is anything new or subscribe (I think that is working).
The intention is for it to be something like a diary of our adventure. It will probably be boring, or not
At some point it may even give ideas or help someone, you never know![]()
Hope you enjoy it!
Really been productive lately. My back notices it
Old age…
With all this working in Excel and mineral names, I forgot how to speak/write English! It’s horrible, but no time or patience to correct it all ![]()
And what is BioLEx, you may ask. BioLEx is a biological experiment that we (students at PSSRI) are developing that will go on the spacecraft ESMO sent under the supervision of ESA (European Space Agency). ESMO (European Student Moon Orbiter) will be launch to orbit the Moon and take different instruments. All the instruments, the space craft, and all the money necessary for the development is of the exclusive responsibility of students from different teams around Europe! ESA supervises and gives us a lift on a rocket.
When I say ‘we’ at PSSRI are developing BioLEx I don’t really mean me. I just deal with the money and budgeting part of it ![]()
So I’m here to present you with our fantastic webpage completely done from scratch by fantastic Jemma! She did a lovely job!
Here you can see information about the team, the mission, the Moon and our instrument.
Just click this link http://www.open.ac.uk/pssri/esmo/
Take a look at the team page and pass the mouse over the pictures to see the two faces of our team ![]()
I will also keep a link on this page under the work category.
It’s been a bit hectic since we came back from holiday. House to clean, work to do, habits to go back to (waking up early is one of them), shopping, laundry, visits from family (it was great! loved to have you here especially little Noah), and especially, getting used to this wedding thing, read, have ideas, start organising, posts to write, people to speak to… We are very busy, but happy ![]()
I will try and get some posts done today, while I finish my data processing and wait for the microscope lamp to stabilise.
It may only last for 3 weeks, but boy it has been hot and sticky since we arrived!
We have to have all the windows open, fans, and still we are melting and suffocating, day and night ![]()
