The Ring
So the first few days we were in Portugal were spent looking for the engagement ring. We decided we would buy it there because it’s cheaper and the quality is better.
It was quite a task! It is not easy to find a diamond ring for my tiny hands and fingers. One of the people we spoke to even said that there are not engagement rings for children for sale yet! The problem isn’t even the size. That can be changed in a day or two. The problem is that it needs to be in a very specific shape in order to look good on my hands. And for that it couldn’t be the traditional model, which has a very high base for the diamond. It needed to be a very low cut with the diamond very close to the ring itself.
We saw a ring like that. We fell in love with it. We both loved it. It was even the exact size, no changes needed. But it was very expensive because the quality of the diamond was very high (it comes with a certificate) and the model was modern. We went back to see it several times and we started to give up on finding something else. We’ve seen dozen and dozens of rings, none of them looked good.
We finally decided that it had to be that one. It’s a one off thing. We’re only supposed to buy one and spending that much money it has to be perfect. But we had to transfer money from our savings account and wait for it. We are now completely broke but happy
It’s so shinny and sparkly!

The Queen of the Ring!
You should see my fingers, mine are even thiner!
It was always the benchmark against which the other rings were measured. We kept going back to it, making phone calls, but nothing put us off. Even though it was more expensive than we were going to spend, it was worth it, and you can see it in the result!!
Pensa o lado positivo: se pensares em regressar podes sempre vender o anel!
(joking… bad joke, i know…)
Piada
So podia ficar com metade do dinheiro e duvido que desse para muito
Parabens pelo anel, é muito bonito
