Yesterday, after some adventures we finally finished cleaning the house at around 1 am. Needless to say we are very tired today.

As soon as I get to work this morning, I receive a phone call from our estate agents asking if there was no one at the house because they had a man coming over to fix some things. Of course there is no one at the house, we both need to work to pay you rent and if you don’t warn us someone is coming we won’t be there!

Luckily I was able to come home this afternoon to open the door. We needed the lounge door fixed (it didn’t open so we had to tape it otherwise we would get locked) and the kitchen and the bathroom resealed.

At the moment he is stripping the entire bathroom and I’m seeing the state of the house and realising that tonight, we’ll have to clean it all up again!

Lately it has been very hard for me to leave the house. I don’t know if it’s lazyness, because it’s cold outside, or lack of motivation.

Jobs

I’ve updated my CV and started looking and applying for jobs.

I know it’s a long shot as I will only be available for work in April, but I can’t risk being unemployed for too long. At least I will get used to being rejected

For some reason I have butterflies in my stomach. Is it the fear of rejection? The fear of being unenployed (again)? The fear of going back to the real world? Or just excitement?

No idea, but here I go!
