Day trip to Warwick University to represent the Open University on a regional poster competition (I was one of the runners up at the OU so I HAVE to go represent it along with the other winners)
A total waste of time!!! I have to chance of winning and I will be wasting an entire day when I should be using that time to read some papers and try to understand what I’m doing (see previous post).
At any other time, the day off would be welcome: Free food and drinks and some socialising. The competition is a good initiative and it’s good to participate, but… this is really not a good time… Not when I have so much to do.
Don’t go then, you may say. And I say that if I don’t, I will have to pay £50 which are much needed!
And now I’ll end this post cos I am wasting time!

Russ and I were talking the other day about what we thought of each other when we met. Before we even imagined something would happen between us. He said that he saw me as the smoking girl who didn’t quite fit in.
A year and half later, I feel the same. Although I don’t smoke anymore, I’m still the girl who doesn’t fit in. I think I never will really…
